In my early twenties, I had the chance to move abroad for a job. It was the opportunity of a lifetime, but I was too scared to take it. I stayed in my comfort zone, thinking there would be other chances. But they never came. Now, every day, I wonder what my life could have been like if I’d been braver. I have a good job in one of the energy companies in Accra but the pay its just from hand to money. At the end of the day nothing much to write home about. I really feel stuck at a job i hate. Recently my cousin moved the the US. She already bought a house there and acres of land somewhere in Aburi and I always question that decision more than anything. It’s like a cloud that follows me around, reminding me of what could have been. Charlie but God dey
