This guy and I had been chatting on Instagram for weeks. He was sweet, always hyping me up in my DMs, and seemed like the kind of guy who’d take you seriously. One evening, he invited me over to his place in Labone, saying he wanted to cook for me. I was impressed cuz most guys would just suggest takeout. When I got there, the dinner was amazing. We laughed, talked about our plans, and even discovered we went to rival SHS schools. After dinner, things got a little steamy, and I ended up staying the night. The next morning, as I was picking up my shoes, I noticed some baby items on his bedside table. That’s when I saw the crib in the corner of the room. My heart sank. When I asked him about it, he casually admitted he had a baby who he’s co-parenting with his ex but insisted it was ‘complicated.’ I didn’t even know what to say. I left immediately and blocked him before I even got to the junction.
